Absentee Voting Information for US General Election Day (Nov. 4)

The United States General Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, during IMAPS 2008. We understand the importance and responsibility of US citizens to vote, therefore we encourage all attendees and participants of IMAPS 2008 to request an absentee ballot to vote this year.

Each state has its own procedures for absentee voting. We have provided links below for each state's absentee voting information from the Harvard University Institute of Politics. Please follow the link for the state in which you reside and request a ballot to cast your vote. While each state's process and deadlines may be different, we do suggest you familiarize yourself with your state's procedure and request your ballot immediately. Most states do seem to have a deadline of late-October for requesting the ballot and 1-5 days prior to November 4 to submit the ballot.
